Once a year on Christmas Eve, drivers battle to the death in a city-wide demolition derby for the chance to be granted one wish, no matter the price, size or even the reality. In a hidden underground facility lives the omnipotent being known only as Calypso. He sits on a throne of broken car parts, smiling beneath his hideous flame-scarred face. Each year, Calypso invites drivers with a simple, red-lettered email reading, "Will you drive?" This year, twelve drivers have been invited for the tenth annual Twisted Metal tournament including Sweet Tooth, an escaped mental patient in clown make-up and an ice cream truck; Outlaw, a cop hoping to end the tournament once and for all; and Mr. Grimm, a collector of souls on a hellish motorcycle. Choose your driver and battle through underground arenas, on surprisingly empty freeways, and over sky scraping rooftops as you collect missiles and explosives to turn your opponents to scrap. Once you've beaten the mysterious Minion you'll reach Calypso and claim your prize, but be careful what you wish for.
