We made it!! & just in time. The Golden Pavilion or Kinkaku-ji Temple in Kyoto closes at 17:00. The sun sets right now in Japan at around 17:20, so we had a very small window to get the best shots. If you are planning a photo mission to the Golden Pavilion we highly suggest going right before the gates close. There were less people and the light was PERFECT!!
