Jouef HJ2056 | TGV Reseau Duplex | 600 | Model Train Pack | HO Scale | Review | HD

This is my review of the Jouef HJ2056 TGV Reseau Duplex train pack in the striking aircraft blue and silver livery with the newer style TGV logo. Also this is the third TGV model that I have reviewed this month although I did buy this model at the end of May this year. I have to say that this model is absolutely stunning in the looks and it is a very smooth runner as well. Although the model train pack is unboxed, it is a fantastic example and I shall be getting some extra cars to make the full 10 unit set eventually. As you will probably guess, this Hornby-Jouef model is an ex-Lima tooling although this model have received some upgrades from when it was released in 2009 as the model has an 8-pin DCC interface although this model already has a DCC decoder fitted. I would like to say thanks to "hovermotion" for the advice about that the bodyshell is quite difficult to remove because, trust me it is as its held into place with six clips including one under the rear fender. The powered unit has all wheel drive with a 5 pole central can motor and a heavy metal chassis which will provide plenty of traction and there is more than enough to haul a full carriage set. Nothing negative to say about the model really now that it has got DCC and also the directional lighting has been upgraded to LED's rather than the dull looking bulbs. So it certainly ticks all the right boxes for me and I picked this one up for an absolute bargain! Overall Rating: 10/10.
