I Did Not Expect These Results! Intel E-Cores ON vs OFF 40 GAME BENCHMARK

When it comes to Intel’s hybrid architecture featured on their 12th and 13th gen processors, you’ll often hear that you’re better off disabling the E-cores as they don’t provide any benefit to gaming performance. I decided to put this to the test myself and benchmarked 40 games to see if we truly get better gaming performance with the E-cores disabled rather than enabled. I used my Intel Core i7-13700K CPU which features 8 performance cores and 8 smaller efficient cores for a total of 24 threads. It also has its P-Cores overclocked to 5.5GHz, E-Cores overclocked to 4.5GHz, and the ring clock has also been overclocked to 4.9GHz. I expected going into this to be a waste of time, but a lot of these results did surprise me.
