Matterhorn and VFR on Top over the Alps: Fricktal (LSZI) to Sion (LSGS) (360 degree video)

This was my first flight above 9'500 feet. To circle the Matterhorn I needed to fly close to 13'000 feet. Because of the low air density at those altitudes hypoxia is a concern and you are not allowed to fly between 10'000 and 13'000 feet for more than 30 minutes without supplemental oxygen. The problem with hypoxia is that it induces a state of euphoria so it is extremely dangerous as it is very difficult to recognise the danger when it takes hold. I originally planed to limit my time above 10'000 feet to the short time I would need to circle the Matterhorn but clouds over the Gemmi pass forced me to exceed 10'000 feet for longer than I had planned. I was still below the 30 minutes but my lack of experience at those altitudes and my experience to date which suggests that above 9'500 feet I already feel woozy due to the low oxygen content in my blood I decided to descend after the Gemmi pass to allow a short time to recover before climbing again to 13'000 feet for my orbit around the Matterhorn. I did feel somewhat woozy above 10'000 feet though you do not hear it in my voice and I noticed that my reaction times had slowed. However I was able to continue and my blood oxygen content was in the high 80's percentile at minimum (though no one was able to tell me before the flight what the minimum would be that would be of concern so I had no reference). The aircraft was a Piper Super Cub HB-PLQ hired from the Motorfluggruppe Fricktal (MFGF).
