EUROPEAN RAILWAYS of the 1990s Pampilhosa (Portugal CP) on 23rd March 1998 Estação Ferroviária Pampilhosa Welcome to the second video clip of my/our trip to Portugal and Spain from March 1998. Today we headed south on the Lisboa (Lisbon) to Porto route. We called in at Pampilhosa Station where the overnight train from France, (which we arrived on 24 hours earlier) splits into two parts. The front portion goes south to Lisbon and the rear portion goes north on what is referred to as the Linha do Norte to Porto. Here in the short spell we were there a bit of action was seen with CP Traction in the form of classes 1150 and 2600. I hope this series will appeal to the European enthusiast as well as the BR enthusiasts and again feel free to comment on any material or subscribe to the channel to help support it's growing popularity.
