Voyadores Overture is a highly energetic orchestral overture composed to accompany the Voyadores Pilgrim Dance held annually on Naga City as part of the Penafrañcia Festival. As an overture, it features the variety of themes around the festival including the fluvial procession represented by the quotation from the stropha “Los mios murmuran, tu nombre al correr” of the himno , the traslacion procession, followed by a long melodic section originally set to the latin prayer “Ave Maria” and which ultimately leads to the traditional “Himno a Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia” composed in 1924 by Fr.
