Stunning Winter Drive in the Outer Hebrides; North Uist, Harris & Lewis [CC]

A gentle video taking you on a drive from North Uist to the Isle of Lewis via Berneray and the Isle of Harris. We are travelling in January 2019, and the snow on the North Harris Hills looks stunning. To see a map of our outward route, please see: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Solla... To see a map of our return route, please see: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Storn... From North Uist we take the causeway over to the island of Berneray. From Berneray ferry port we take the CalMac Ferry mv Loch Portain across to Leverburgh in the Isle of Harris. In Leverburgh we take the 'Bays Road', sometimes known as 'The Golden Road' up the east side of Harris. After joining with the main A859 we continue past Tarbert, over the stunning North Harris Hills and past Loch Seaforth and on to the Isle of Lewis. Returning, we head back down the West side of Harris on the A859, making photo stops at Seilebost beach and Horgabost Beach, before getting the ferry from Leverburgh back to Berneray.
