RMNF CSR Officer Patrick Aurelio takes us in the field for the turnover of new handwashing facilities at Datu Magunda Mangilay Elementary School in Maguindanao Del Norte, in partnership with Metrobank Foundation and Davies Paint. Why is WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) in Schools important? Proper handwashing facilities are proven to enhance the well-being of children and their families. It contributes towards healthy and secure school environments that can protect children from common illnesses, plus develop positive behavior and life skills and help them to learn better and thrive. Through impactful programs such as these, the RMN Foundation aims to support education-focused interventions that help improve the welfare of young learners and communities nationwide as part of its mission of public service.
