In the last video, i got the engine mounted in the Jeep and progress is continuing! Its time to take a look at the other half of the Advance Adapters Jeep TJ Adapter kit. We previously installed the adapter on the GM 4l60e transmission, allowing the TJ Transfercase to bolt up. However we have to change out the tcase input shaft in order for the two to mate up and work together. Since im tearing the transfer case apart... Its a great time to add a Slip Yoke Eliminator from Advance Adapters as well. Most of you TJ owners know that a SYE is a much needed upgrade after a lift kit. It gives us a better driveshaft angle, the ability to run a stronger driveshaft, and can help keep vibration from occurring. Advance Adapters sends out great instructions for both kits, so i felt a step by step tutorial wasn't needed. With both of these installed, my transfercase is good to go for the LS swap! Next up we take a look at the standalone wiring harness and ECM. Since posting this video, i have decided to change up the plans and run the Holley Terminator X Max kit. I will talk about that in the future video. The cheap Ebay standalone setup is a good budget friendly setup, however the Holley kit will offer more performance and is more geared towards my swap.
