Kawhi Leonard, back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year. Not a whole lot needs to be added really, except that Kawhi and Hakeem Olajuwon are the only two players in the multiple DPOY awards + Finals MVP category. Plus, he's the first non-center to win consecutive awards since Dennis Rodman. When we're talking defense, and you're in a class with just Dennis Rodman and Hakeem Olajuwon, that makes you a truly transcendent talent. It's no secret that Kawhi is a very special defensive player, with the eye test and statistics back that up. If you delve a little deeper, and just look at the advanced stats on The Claw, you start to see some frightening stuff. My favorite one is from Tom Haberstroh (@tomhaberstroh on Twitter): "per Synergy Sports, Kawhi allowed 42 points on 61 isolations (0.69). Draymond allowed 129 on 191 isos (0.68).
