Rice University offers housing to full-time, currently registered or recently accepted graduate students. Rice Graduate Housing has three properties located near campus - the Rice Graduate Apartments, the Rice Village Apartments and the Rice Village Townhomes. Furnished apartments are available in a variety of floor plans and the Rice Shuttle Service provides easy transportation to and from campus, nearby grocery stores and shopping centers. High-speed internet is provided and the Rice network which allows access to the online journals and databases of the Fondren Library. The Rice Graduate Housing staff host many social events such as holiday parties, cooking competitions and resident get-togethers in order to help facilitate the balance between work and play.
