Train Derailment On Curvy Tracks At Railroad Crossing In Gods Country. Rock Train Goes Up Williamsburg Hill With Classic Short Line Railroad Locomotives. Norfolk Southern Peavine Line With Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Rock Train. Train Chase & Look At Train Wreck. Close Look At Rail And Abandoned Railroad Defect Detector. First we see the rock train passing through Mount Orab, Ohio with a GE B36-7, an EMD GP15-1, 5 car loads of railroad ties and 8 car loads of rock. The railroad has been replacing railroad ties along the line and we see evidence of that. Then we go to the site of the July derailment and see the cleanup is almost done. The half dozen hopper cars were scrapped and are being removed. The rock train stopped here to wait for maintenance of equipment to get off the track. After seeing that we go to Williamsburg to see the train going up Williamsburg Hill at the Gay Street railroad crossing. The classic locomotives made it look easy although the train was fairly short. The other half of the train is at a location in Adams County where they had a small derailment. We then go to the September 11 derailment site. The train that I just chased had these cars in its consist when the accident happened. There are about 6 cars that came off the rails and some of the track was destroyed. This is a minor derailment and is in the process of being cleaned up. It happened the previous afternoon. The site is Tranquility Pike which is just east of Seaman, Ohio. I show a flashback video of a tank car that got loose and derailed here a few years back. The car was empty and had been in storage on the main line. Since I filmed that approximately 20 more miles of track was opened up to reach the quarry at Plum Run and for car storage.
