The passage of a solemn march along the main street of the city of Brest by units of the 19th motorized corps of the Wehrmacht, which was observed as spectators by the crews of the 29th separate tank brigade of the Red Army on September 22, 1939, during the official procedure for the transfer to the Soviet side of the city of Brest and the Brest Fortress, captured by the Germans troops. In some German documents, this is called a "joint parade", because according to the original agreements, this was how it should have been. However, on the day of the parade, the Soviet side insisted that it would be only spectator.
