Mango sago dessert 🥭 This dessert is perfect for a sweet treat on a warm day – creamy, fruity, and super refreshing! This easy, creamy treat combines sweet mangoes, chewy sago pearls, and cool coconut jelly in a rich mix of milks for a refreshing finish. It's the perfect chill-out companion for any sunny day. Treat yourself to a bowl and taste the tropics. ingredients: 1 cup dried sago pearls 2 mango(approximately 1 large mango, or 2 medium) 1 jar of coconut jelly 1 cup of milk jelly 1/2 cup heavy cream 4 tbsp of condensed milk 1 cup evaporated milk Ice How to make mango sago dessert /recipe Instruction: 1. Cook the sago : Bring a pot of water to a boil and toss in your dried sago pearls. Let them boil for about 5 to 10 minutes. After boiling, shut off the heat, cover the pot, and let the sago pearls sit for about 15 minutes to get fully cooked through. Drain and rinse the sago under cool water to stop the cooking process and get rid of any excess starch. Set them aside to cool. 2. Make Milk Jelly: First things first, before you get into anything else, mix 1 cup of hot milk with 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder. Stir until fully dissolved. Pop this mixture into the fridge to set, which should take about 3-4 hours. Once it’s firm, chop it up into bite-sized cubes. 3. Prepare the Mango: Peel and cube one mango. This will go directly into your dessert as is, offering little bursts of fresh mango goodness. Take the second mango, peel, chop, and throw it into a blender. Whizz it into a smooth puree. This will mingle with the other ingredients for an all-over mango flavor. 4. Strain Coconut Jelly: Remove the coconut jelly from its syrup and set it aside. 5. Mix It All Together: In a large bowl, combine the cubed mango, mango puree, cooked sago, coconut jelly, cubed milk jelly, heavy cream, evaporated milk, and condensed milk. Mix everything together well. 6. Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours to allow all the flavors to blend together nicely. 7. Serve: If you want to serve it right away and like it extra cold, add some ice. Otherwise, just spoon it into bowls and enjoy chilled! Tips: 1. You can use coconut milk instead of heavy cream. 2. You can use all type of fruits like strawberries, dragon fruits, kiwi etc. #trending #mangosago #kitchenmenusdaily#recipe #summerdessert #mango
