Holy mother of scuffed runs. So I really don't know how it did get to be like this. Normally when there's a fangame release, I play it, aim for a 1cc, take a quick look at the extra content and that's it. But for some reason TCL just ... hooked me? First the Labyrinth Stage, now the main game, so much that one could see this as a scoring attempt even? Now mind you this is a rather haphazardly thrown together run after I just finished routing each stage, and even then there are a lot of blunders and bad mistakes (like dying to Banka in s6, which literally costs billions). I also honestly have no reference to how good of a run this is. I know there's already a 34b run with this shot type so that might be my next goal. Apparently blue lantern shots can also score quite high, as there is a 31b run with it, though I don't intend to use it. There's certainly a lot of room for improvement, so I might whip out something better than this some time soon (Update: I actually got a 33b run but I'm gonna wait for another significant PB to upload.) From what I observed it seems that the main focus for scoring is gathering PIV by grazing, but also most importantly using bombs at the right moment to gain Impurity/PIV. While you get quite a few millions from ressources and stage clear bonus alone, gathering a lot of PIV will result in a gigantic cash-in throughout stage 6. In practice I was able to get nearly 10b in the stage section alone, so routing more bombs and deaths might be the go to play for an even better score. Otherwise, the neat thing about the rainbow lantern is that you basically don't have to bother about any kind of gimmick, just make sure that the multiplier stays at x9 and everything is fine.
