Best Beach Near St. Augustine? | Anastasia State Park | Millet's Go

Collin and I are Floridians now! After making the move to Jacksonville, Florida, we scratched our heads and wondered what we should film next. We realized we do not know much about the beaches in Florida, yet. So we have decided to tour them all and make a video of each one detailing exactly what you might expect when you visit these beaches. Often times we wonder is the beach dog friendly? Is parking a hassle? Is the water freezing? When should I visit? What else is there to do in the area? are there any good restaurants? And tons more questions like that make visiting the beach pain. Stick with us to know what to expect so when you visit you are prepared and can have the best experience possible! Anastasia State Park and Beach is a quaint area just south of Jacksonville and right next to St. Augustine. The town of St. Augustine is amazing, but once you are inside Anastasia State Park, it is no longer a St. Augustine experience. The beach is pretty calm and secluded most days so don't worry about large crowds. You do have to pay to get in so keep that in mind, but it is worth it to avoid crowds. Parking is a breeze and dogs are welcome to the park, BUT not on the beach. This is great for those looking to kick back and relax on the weekend or have a fun hiking or biking adventure along with a beach view.
