Good Equitation is an ART Not only is it beautiful to watch, but because of our individual journey towards mastery. As an instructor, I'm always looking for new ways to help riders improve and really feel confident in their abilities. I enjoyed trying out these resistance bands and can see where they would be very beneficial.... HOWEVER :) Knowledge is power and something no one can take away from you. Something that you solve, heal or accomplish through learning and first hand experience is beyond confidence building. It’s extremely powerful and it will completely transform and rewire you. This has been a key element in equestrian sport, this is horsemanship, developing not only the equine athlete but the human one. If we take shortcuts in our training, and I’m not referring to the resistance bands alone, I’m now speaking to the rate at which we produce and develop horses, are we not shortcutting both athletes?
