Celebrating the release of Pikmin 3 Deluxe with a 4k remaster of my 2013 cartoon Pikmin Tree. Which is also my most viewed cartoon. Yes I'm milking it. No I'm not sorry. If I was smart I would've uploaded this last month, but I'm not!!!!!!!!!! So ideally I would've actually remade Pikmin Tree, since it doesn't look great anymore, but that would've taken forever. Not like Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a remake anyways, though it did add a bit more content than this remaster did. That doesn't mean this is just a straight remaster though! In addition to being in 4k resolution, it's also presented in anamorphic wide screen to make it feel more cinematic, something I actually did several years ago but never publicly released. It's also got higher sound quality and I even added more sounds and changed some sounds to be better. The sound I used for Olimar's whistle originally was taken from a video of someone playing smash bros, so it wasn't very good. Now it's ripped directly from the game! Visually, there's also a new background, as well as some depth of field on the first shot. I also changed the timing of a few bits, 'cause I thought some things were too slow, like the red pikmin carrying the pellet in the beginning, or Olimar walking to the ship at night.
