Windy Weekend for Steam Tangmere at Carlisle, Garsdale, Lazonby and Armathwaite 17 18 August 24 Tangmere on the Northern Belle and The Waverley On Saturday 17th August Tangmere arrives at Carlisle with the Northern Belle Settle Carlisle Steam Special and is taken to Upperby for servicing and turning I then got the train to Garsdale. A Pretty spot, isolated with few houses and no longer having a pub. Here we look at the station and a few passing passenger trains before Tangmere arrives. The Northern Belle had to be stopped as it was catching up the preceding stopping train! On Sunday 18th August I went out again on the northern S&C to see Tangmere again with The Waverley charter. We see it at Lazonby and at Armathwaite, The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
