A video, very much inspired by another on here, of footage taken on the Ffestiniog Railway of their iconic Double Fairlie Locomotives, set to the song “Fairlie Duplex Engine” by Hughie Jones. The footage is filmed in 2017 & 2018, featuring Merddin Emrys (1879), Earl of Merioneth (1979) and David Lloyd George (1992). Next year (2020) is the 150th anniversary of the trials referred to in the song, and the Ffestiniog are putting on a major event in June to celebrate.
