An identity document, such as your passport, a driver’s license, or a work permit card. If you have family members included in your asylum case, they should each bring an identity document too. Your attorney and your interpreter also need to bring their IDs. 3. A copy of your asylum application, along with any supporting documents that you submitted together with your application. The asylum application is also called Form I-589. 4. Originals of all the documents you submitted with your asylum application, including passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and I-94s for you and your family who are included in your asylum case. 5. Any additional evidence that supports your case. 6. Translations and certificates of translations for any documents that are not in English. 7.
