Video8 opnamen van de trolleybussen in Lausanne, Zwitserland gefilmd in de zomer van 1989. Het gebruik van aanhangwagens was èèn van de bijzonderheden van dit trolleybedrijf. Inmiddels is het aantal aanhangers duidelijk minder geworden en zet ook Lausanne in op de gelede trolleybus, binenkort mogelijk zelfs in dubbelgelede uitvoering. Voor het SSB/CFF station zien we zelfs nog een ex Züricher tweeasser staan. Op Place St. Francois hobbelt nog een oud aanhangertje achter een trolley voorbij. Eine besonderheit im Lausanner Trolleybusbetrieb waren diie beiwagen (trolleybusanhänger). Heut' zu tage ist ihr stückzahl deutlich reduziert, und setzt auch Lausanne auf den Gelenktrolleybus ein. Im Zukunft möglicherweis in Doppelgelenk ausführung. Vor dem Hauptbahnhof sehen wir sogar noch ein ex-Züricher trolleybus, und am Place St. Francois schaukelt eine kleine alte beiwagen hinter ein Trolleybus vorbei. One of the delights of this trolleybussystem was the use of trailers behind the trolleybuses. Their number has increased since a few years, and in the meantime the first articulated trolleybuses have arrived. In the near future there will possibly be bi-articulated trolleybuses to replace the last trailers. At the SBB Station Square we can even see an ex-Zürich trolleybus and at Place St. Francois a cute little old trailer is wobbling behind a trolleybus. The trolleybus system of Lausanne is still the largest in Switzerland.
