2013 Brawl of the Wild: Montana at Montana State - Big Sky Football

Jordan Canada rushed for a pair of touchdowns as Montana beat Montana State 28-14 in the 113th Brawl of the Wild. Canada tied the game with a 7-yard run late in the second quarter. He added UM's final score on an 8-yard run with 1:49 remaining. UM QB Jordan Johnson threw for 250 yards and a 20-yard TD to tight end Clay Pierson. Montana State's Shawn Johnson returned a punt 82 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to put the Bobcats up 7-0. He scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter. UC Davis and Cal Poly are football-only participants. The Big Sky sponsors championships in 15 sports, including men's and women's basketball, indoor and outdoor track and field, cross country, and tennis. There are championships in football and women's volleyball, golf, soccer, and softball.
