MANILLE LIQUEUER DI CALAMANSI https://www.limtuaco.com/craftspirits... I said a Calamansi was like a cross between a lime and a lemon, but I've also heard it described as a cross between a kumquat and an orange. Here's a cocktail I created using this liqueur that I call "The 'Ber Months" - once it hits September (the first of the "Ber" months from September - December), that's a signal that one can start decorating their home for Christmas. I'd never heard this phrase before but it's a relatively common phrase in the Philippines. THE 'BER MONTHS 2 oz Gin (I used Ginebra San Miguel from the Philippines) 1 oz Manille Liqueur di Calamansi 0.5 oz Lime Juice 0.25 oz Simple Syrup 1 dash Barrel Aged Forbidden Bitters Garnish: chunk of skewed pineapple Served up in a Coupe Glass "THE LORD OF THE RINGS" BY LEONARD ROSENMAN https://www.discogs.com/release/24057...
