Welcome to my mini series! I will be posting one macrame knot or knot pattern a day for the month of February 2019. Day 1: The Berry Knot Start by tying 6 alternating half square knots. For a more in-depth tutorial on the half square knot (and square knot) please click here:    • Macrame For Beginners - 28 Days of Kn...   Make sure you leave a bit of room at the top of your work because we will be pulling the rope through that section to make the berry knot. To pull the rope through, I recommend using a crochet hook. For 2-5mm rope, I find using a 9mm crochet hook works well. Take the 2 middle pieces of string and pull it through the centre of the 4 pieces of string at the top. This is how you create the berry. To secure the knot in place, tie 2 half square knots.
