We want to show you the real coast of hotels in Sri Lanka. Our first stay was at Rai Villa Colombo. A beautiful home with private rooms and shared bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and rooftop. The home itself is beautiful and spacious. The food was also very nice but a little bit expensive and the big down for us was the distance to downtowm Colombo. Overall a great place to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax or work. This is the perfect place for backpack travellers looking to meet other people as this property as the perfect environment to mingle. The room was clean but needed a little work. It had a private bathroom which is a big plus and a small patio to enjoy the sun. The food was good and affordable and the property was located one shot tuktuk ride away from Colombo centre.
