Stunning Nearly 200 year old Abandoned Winslow Plantation Down South in Georgia

This place was built in the early 1800’s as a successful cotton, sweet potatoes and timber plantation. The outset of the civil war would bring soldiers marching right nearby in Sherman’s March to Sea. Somehow the house was saved and spared destruction during the war. After the civil war the house would remain empty for decades until a couple bought the house in the early 1900’s. After giving the house a restoration it would be lived in until the couples passing in the 1960’s. Afterwards it was used as a hunting lodge for a couple decades until once again in the early 2000’s a restoration was begun but this time the workers reported tools going missing and hearing strange sounds/ doors opening while working. Ultimately they ended up refusing too go back and work on the place. House did have a strange vibe. Big Thanks to the neighbor John who stopped by and gave me some history on the house!
