In this survival challenge, located in the high desert, I am trying to survive only on the wild plants I can forage from nature. At the right time of year, and in the right location, a knowledgeable forager can thrive. As you will see in this video, I am surrounded by a comparative bounty of plants from which I can choose to sustain myself. In this video, I create a desert feast and the truly sublime experience which we all dream about. In this video I am taking on a new challenge. Can I survive in a formidable location I have never been before and foraged plants to sustain myself? To thrive, I need to find a sustainable water source, create a warm shelter, and locate wild plants that will sustain me for my survival foraging trip. In addition, I will need to cook any wild plants to an edible state for consumption. Watch this video to see if I am successful.
