Courtesy jacky9br. Partial 6 PM edition of New Orleans CBS affiliate WWL's Eyewitness News from Friday, January 13th 1984. (This was all that was on the tape.) Anchored by Garland Robinette, Angela Hill, sports director Jim Henderson and meteorologist Dave Barnes. Features a pre-Senior Bowl report with Larry Matson. A little over a month following this newscast, Barnes would ultimately take over full-time for the station's legendary chief met/hurricane expert Nash Roberts, who remained with the station until his retirement. Features sports and weather, plus original commercials, bottom-of-the-hour WWL ID with TM Productions' "The Best Things In Life Are Here on 4" jingle, and partial intro to PM Magazine with Eric Paulsen and Lea Sinclair.
