Channel Islands Happy Everyday Surfboard Review

Ian reviews the Channel Islands Happy Everyday: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/ch... Introducing the Channel Islands Happy Everyday surfboard in CI's latest Spine-Tek technology. The Happy Everyday continues on from the huge success of the Happy and Two Happy models, this latest version is a user friendly shortboard with an everyday surfing feel. This board will work when conditions aren't perfect in waves from waist and up, its not just for seasoned rippers though size it right and this board could be the one you move to as you progress. The Happy Everyday is aimed at all surfing abilities, it features a shortened rail to create a curvier outline to help take care of windy or choppy conditions, and the lowered entry and exit rockers really help with paddling and speed generation. A single concave under the front foot acts as an accelerator, and the generous double concave through the fins provides easy rail-to-rail release and plenty of the ability to get the board going in the smaller stuff. The Happy Everyday is a great all-around design that sits right between the high performance shortboard, the Two Happy and the step down/groveler the Rocket Wide. In short, a board designed for high performance surfing on the majority of waves the majority of us surf every day. Spine-Tek technology is the result of a Channel Islands and Shapers Australia collaboration with the aim to further enhance the flex response of modern surfboards. Spine-Tek features a precision engineered spine/stringer made from a unique blend of fibreglass and resin which replaces the original wooden stringer. This revolutionary tech is based on the principles of elastic energy; the board flexes under pressure and then rapidly returns to its original rocker-line. The speed of this response is what gives your surfboard that 'electric', zingy feel which remains for the life of the board. Watch the video below for a full technology breakdown from Britt Merrick. Don't forget, if the stock dims don't work for you, you can order a customised version selecting your exact dims, fin set up and fin system, check out our customizer service at Boardshop right now. All you need to do is punch in the details and pay a £100 deposit with the balance due when we ship your board roughly 8-12 weeks later.
