What is Complementary Shaders? Well, is a shader back that is based on BSL Shaders with the goal of maximizing beauty, compatibility, performance, gameplay, and more. Complementary Shaders strives to be the most compatible shaders pack out there working great with mods and pretty much every GPU on the market. This is accomplished while making Minecraft look truly incredible. So, without any more delay, here is how to use Complimentary Shaders in Minecraft! First things first, you will need to download and install Optifine. You can find our complete guide on getting Optifine in the description above. That guide covers everything you need to know about Optifine from where to download it to how to install it in order to get Complimentary Shaders, it covers over everything. Once you have Optifine, we can move on to how to download Complementary Shaders. You can find a link in the description above that will take you to the official Complementary Shaders download page. On this page, click on the “Files” tab. Then, find the version of Complementary Shaders you want. Most likely, you’ll want the most recent version. Click the three dots next to the version you want and click “Download File”. Complementary Shaders will start downloading for Minecraft!
