Season preparations are ongoing...We had the second official ITR DTM test days at Lausitzring. For me that are the first kilometers here in a DTM car. With my design 2021 and my starting number #99. Actually the DTM grid was completed there. But still BoP is most important. We are missing compared to Mercedes GT3 and Ferrari GT3. Important for me was to get more experience again with f. e. the steer-by-wire system. My co pilot is the steering engine...The new technic brings some more extra weight to the car which we try to balance out with the setup. The changing weather conditions were making it difficult. Day 1 and Day 2 were actually mainly setup adjustments. In the end I was just able to do have a proper run on new tires in the long run of Day 3. And actually my lap times weren’t that bad compared to my team mate. Every single day which I am spending in the paddock with ABT is stunning. The whole team is so concentrated and very professional. I feel very well there. In general we still need to make aome more steps to be prepared for the firs round of 2021 in Monza. At the 19th and 20th of June. Until then I am counting the days.
