Ever wondered what actual real-life neuroscience research looks like? Or what it would be like to be a neuroscientist? I certainly have, so that's why in my very first youtube video I'm showing the in's and out's of neuroscience research at Cambridge University!! I'm joined by my friend Mairead, who does experiments on MY BRAIN as part of her lab's neuroscience study that looks at the brain basis of OCD and compulsive behaviour. If your interested in becoming a scientist yourself, want to know more about how science works, or would like to see more of Cambridge University, let me know in the comments what YOUR particular interests are (e.g. which types of science) and it'll be the next video on my list!!! Many thanks to the Behavioural Clinical Neuroscience Institute, the Cambridge Department of Psychology, and the legendary Professor Trevor W. Robbins for hosting me at their facilities. If you're interested in participating in the study yourself (and are based in the UK) you can email [email protected], or see instagram at ocd_cambridge.
