Bidein a' Choire Sheasgaich (more commonly known and easily prounounced as "The Cheesecake") and Lurg Mhòr are, according to Cameron McNeish, "two of the lonliest Munros in the land" and it is indeed a very remote but rewarding area of Scotland. Well not so lonley for me! as five of us set out for an amazing week-end at Bendronaig Bothy in Torridon Wester Ross to tackle these two munros along with... All the approach routes are long and arduous - we decided on Attadale as the starting point to cycle into Bendronaig Bothy, this involves a bit (more than a bit) of pushing the bike as some sections are very steep. it's a round trip of about 25 miles including the Munros so best done with an overnighter at the bothy. Bidein a’ Choire Sheasgaich is a remote mountain in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. It is a Munro with a height of 945 metres (3,100 ft) and is at the western end of an east–west ridge comprising a Munro Top Meall Mor (974 metres), and the Munro Lurg Mhòr (986 metres)
