Meet the seventh cohort of ARC Network Virtual Visiting Scholars (VVS)! The VVS program annually supports scholars to complete metasyntheses and meta-analyses of existing literature on topics relevant to equity in STEM. https://www.equityinstem.org/virtual-... Dr. Autumn Asher BlackDeer is a queer anti-colonial scholar-activist from the Southern Cheyenne Nation and serves as an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. Dr. Kilan Ashad-Bishop is a biomedical scientist and Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science and the co-founder of STEMNoire, a global research and wellness community for Black women in STEM education and the workforce. Karen Colbert is the General Education Department Chair and Lead Math Faculty at Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College, a Data Scientist, and a PhD Candidate in Computational Science & Engineering at Michigan Technological University. Dr. Arielle Miller is a researcher at Howard University in the Community-Centered, Openness, Research, and Equity (CORE) Futures Lab conducting research on intersectional gendered equity in STEM academia. Dr. Chanda Prescod-Weinstein is an associate professor of physics and astronomy and core faculty in women’s and gender studies at the University of New Hampshire.
