This is a visual tutorial on how I make my all natural, gentle, cold process soap with a bit of fall inspiration. Ingredients for a 10 1/2" X 3" X 3" mold. (interior dimensions) olive oil - 18 oz coconut oil - 8 oz Castor oil - 5 oz cocoa butter - 3 oz shea butter - 2 oz Lye - 4.4 oz (Remember to wear your safety equipment) Distilled water - 13.7 oz Allow at least 4 weeks for soap bars to cure before use. always good to keep bars in a well ventilated area while curing. Disclaimer This cold process soap making process is intended for people who have a good understanding of making cold process soap. (Results may vary). Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which could be harmful to the lungs and eyes and could cause burns.
