Winter in Scotland - Finding beauty in the December darkness (vlog)

Although it's Scotland's darkest month, December has a special beauty. Typically we have gorgeous Sunrise and Sunsets all month, the sun stays by the horizon and casts long shadows over the land. The weather is ever changing, mild and freezing, sunny and snowy, foggy and clear. Winter Solstice brings us our longest night, and I find my body going into rest mode. The quiet beauty of December brings a desire to hibernate and recharge. I struggle with seasonal depression, so I try to go outside as much as possible. Photography is a great motivator. In this video I'll share some of the beauty here on the Moray coast, northeast Scotland. Photographing the Moray coast has become a favorite pastime. I've also been experimenting with abstract drone photography. I'll also take you with me for a little shopping trip in Cullen, a cute small town by the coast.
