Heavy snowfall is causing some communities to become temporarily inaccessible, along with the closure of mountain passes, particularly in the Witzenberg and Breede Valley of the Western Cape Province. Strong winds and waves are likely to risk medium to large vessels, potentially causing them to drag anchors and break mooring lines, particularly between Cape Agulhas and Plettenberg Bay. Strong winds and rough waves are on the way, making it challenging to navigate at sea.
