In this video I will show you how to keep a tuxedo from “The Gilded Cage” mission. To begin with you need to be in chapter 4 and currently on the mission “The Gilded Cage” If you are in any other point of the game Such as the epilogue, you will be unable to do this glitch. Whenever ready start the mission (you can skip cutscenes) Once you can control immediately abandoned the escort this will fail the mission, once the mission fails, cancel the mission. After a moment you will respawn not far from camp. If you respond with the outfit you were currently wearing when you started the mission the glitch did not work, this happens very often. If you respawned with the outfit you were currently wearing go back to the mission and started again and repeat the steps explained previously. As of now there is no other method for this glitch to work consistently when glitch works completely by random. This means the glitch is RNG based and it is impossible to tell when it will work. The glitch will most likely take multiple attempts it could take multiple minutes or even hours. However if you get good RNG you may get glitch to work within a couple of attempts. And some point you will respawn with the outfit And the time of day will be changed to the evening, when doing this glitch you will lose all of your weapons, however there is a method to get the weapons back. There are two different methods to save the outfit, the first method is using a trapper outfit. For this method you need to own one of the two following outfits; "The Rattler" and "The Marauder” If you have one of these outfits go to wardrobe and store one of with the trapper outfits on your horse. The wardrobe and go to your horse, then equipped the trapper outfit. "The Rattler" and "The Marauder” trapper outfits work best because you get to keep most of the outfit except for the vest. Once you equipped the trapper outfit from your horse, go back to wardrobe and Make a small change the outfit such as removing the hat, this should allow you to save the outfit. The second method is buying a holster from either gunsmith or trapper, keep in mind you can't do this method if you already bought all of the holsters beforehand, also you need to buy only a holster this will not work with a gunbelt, offhand holster or a bandolier. Once you buy a holster from either gunsmith or trapper, go to any wardrobe and you should be able to save the outfit. After saving the outfit, equip a different outfit, it could be another custom outfit or a wardrobe outfit such as the gunslinger or the summer gunslinger outfit. To get your weapons back you need to do this glitch without reloading a save, this is because if you reload a save from any point between the time of getting the outfit until finishing the mission “The Gilded Cage” You will lose all of your weapons permanently. To get the weapons back you need to finish the mission “The Gilded Cage.” After finishing the mission you should have all of your weapons back if you hadn't reloaded a save at any point during the glitch. However if you didn't reload a save after finishing the mission you will lose all of your weapons permanently.
