Trae Vassallo is a General Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, where she invests in a broad array of consumer, software, and digital energy ventures. Trae led KPCB's investments in Aggregate Knowledge, Dropcam, Enlighted, OPOWER, and Recyclebank and was responsible for originating the firm's investments in Enphase and Silver Spring Networks. She also works closely with the management team of Nest. Before joining KPCB in 2003, Trae was a co-founder of Good Technology, a KPCB portfolio company (acquired by Motorola) that provides end-to-end wireless e-mail services to the enterprise. Trae began her career at IDEO, where she developed ground breaking products for companies including Palm and Dell. Trae holds 13 patents across a broad array of technologies and disciplines. Aileen Lee has many years of experience helping start ups build products customers love, and helping companies scale, both as an investor and operator. Prior to founding Cowboy Ventures, she joined the venture firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 1999. At KPCB she worked hands-on with a range of consumer, enterprise, media and greentech companies including Bloom Energy, Blue Nile, Good Technology(acquired by MOT), One Kings Lane, Plum District, Rent the Runway, Shopkick, Tellme(acquired by MSFT), and Trendyol. During that time she was also founding CEO of RMG Networks, the leading digital out-of-home media company, backed by KPCB. Aileen has also held operating roles at Gap Inc., The North Face and Odwalla and started her career at Morgan Stanley. She has degrees from MIT and Harvard Business School, and is the proud mom of 3 kids and the wife of a series A stage co-founder/CTO. Megan Quinn is a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. She joined the firm in 2012 and focuses on consumer Internet investments. Megan joined KPCB from Square, the company revolutionizing payments for buyers and sellers. As Square's director of products she led strategy and development of the company's products across merchant and consumer audiences. Prior to that, Megan spent seven years at Google where she held various leadership positions in communications, business development and product management. She oversaw the development and marketing of some of the company's most successful products, including Google Maps. Her team's work continues to serve as the foundation for Google's location-based consumer and advertising products. Heidi Roizen is a Partner at Draper Fisher Jurvetson. After receiving her undergraduate and MBA degrees from Stanford University, Heidi co-founded T/Maker Company (an early personal computer software company) in 1983, where she served as CEO from inception through its acquisition by Deluxe Corporation in 1994. In 1996, Heidi joined Apple as Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations. From there, Heidi entered the venture capital world, serving as a Managing Director of Mobius Venture Capital from 1999 to 2007. Heidi is a member of the boards of directors of TiVo (NASDAQ: TIVO), DMGT (LSE:DMGT), Eventful, TrustedID, ShareThis and XTime, and serves on the advisory boards of Springboard Enterprises and the National Center for Women in Information Technology.
