GBO2 Galbaldy Beta (FS): It's a general GP04?

This video is a recent quick match I had with the LV1 Galbaldy Beta FS on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 500 general with high mobility, low heat beam rifle and great shooting damage. Its weaknesses are poor MA breaks without charging the rifle, long beam rifle focus time and only one melee swing. I didn't expect a match with this suit to go as well as it did so I hope that this video can be a good showcase of the maximum or close to maximum potential of the MS. I hope that you enjoy watching! The primary ranged weapon of the Galbaldy FS is a beam rifle with 2100 (2700) power, 75% (90%) heat, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m (450m) range, 5 seconds focus time and 10% (90%) stagger value. The uncharged shot has low heat for an instant stun rifle while the charged shot adds very high stagger build value and great damage. You can combo this into either a downswing or the sub weapon beam rifle. Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2100 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, one swing with 90%x2 down swing modifier. The initial hit of the downswing is pretty short ranged but is fast and easy to connect with. You can't follow up a downswing with another downswing so its usually best to swap targets after landing it or to reposition somewhere safer to start shooting. It first sub weapon is a beam rifle with 500 power, 8 ammo, 0.5 seconds cooldown, 10 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 25% stagger value. The power and stagger value is low but the low cooldown allows you to put out decent damage at midrange after a primary rifle shot. It can quickly break MA if used after a charged rifle shot or sturmfaust but can also stun in 4 hits if used on its own. Its second sub weapon is a sturmfaust with 1700 power, 1 ammo, 15 seconds reload, 3 seconds swap time, 200m range and 80% stagger value. This swaps slow, fires from the left hand and has a discard animation which temporarily stops you from swapping weapons. It is still useful though to combo into your primary rifle for a stun chain and extra damage. It also has a large shield with 4000 HP which can take some hits for you. Since it is a large shield it will buff walking and turning speed by 15% once broken. This works out to 149 walking speed and 79 turning speed which is really useful for the shooting playstyle of the MS. In terms of stats and skills the Galbaldy FS is great in many areas except for lacking melee combo controller. Its mobility is high with 130 walking speed, 210 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 69 turning. This is further enhanced by it having access to LV2 Flight Control, LV2 Glide Structure and LV2 Forced Injector. This basically makes it the most mobile 500 cost general other than the original Jegan. It also has LV1 Leg Buffer for -10% damage taken when shot in the legs along with LV1 Anti-Blast Stabilizer to prevent being heavy staggered by MS exploding. In terms of bulk it is just about average with 15500 HP, 20 ballistic resistance, 20 beam resistance and 14 melee resistance. It isn't too easy to take out but your bulk is lower than the premier 500 frontliner choices so it isn't recommended to play frontline too much. Overall I think that the Galbaldy FS is a pretty nice flexible general. It is good at mostly shooting while moving into melee range for its own self defence or to opportunistically save allies/get more damage. However, it is competing with Jeda, Jegan, Refined Barzam and Rick Dias for this very same role so it can be hard to justify using if you want to use the most effective option available. It is totally fine to use in rated matches if you want to win and just like the suit though. I believe it is occasionally available in the RT store for LV1-2 if you want to try it so keep your eyes open if you think it would interest you. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
