Lesson 2 (Aviation Opportunities) of our Private Pilot Ground School focuses on the next steps after receiving your Private Pilot Certification. You can continue on to obtain your instrument rating, commercial certificate, as well as move forward to your multiengine rating. There are no limits in aviation, as there are endless number of courses to be taken and knowledge to be learned. You can continue to learn how to fly more advanced aircraft such as complex, high performance, tail wheel, gliders, and even helicopters. You will also be able to learn all the new technological advancements of the modern avionics today. Later in the video, we will discuss how to obtain type ratings to fly the big jets, by working for charter companies or airlines. Finally, Scott will explain the steps needed for career opportunities after receiving a total of 1500 flight hours. Our SkyEagle Team believes that ground training is equally important as the practical portion of the training because it gives the foundation of the important knowledge needed prior to conducting the flying portion of the program. Our 141 school is currently utilizing the Jeppesen Syllabus and Courseware for all of our programs. These set of videos contain the knowledge for the full 35 hours of ground school required by the FAA, which is taught on site here in our school.
