Let's Visit The San Diego Botanic Gardens!

Have you visited the San Diego Botanic Garden? It's one of our favorite spots in San Diego and we actually purchased a membership since we visit so often. San Diego Botanic Garden https://www.sdbgarden.org/ can be found in Encinitas, CA. It has more than 4 miles of trails that meander through 37 acres, and in my opinion, it has THE BEST Children's Garden and play area in California. We spend most of our time in the Children's Garden, but every so often I can get the kids to walk around the grounds. I'm hoping that next time I can get them to walk up to the Overlook Natural Area where you can catch a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean if it's not overcast. Currently, you park and enter through the back entrance by the Conservatory and Children's Garden area. The main parking lot and entrance are closed as they work towards building a new visitor center. The San Diego Botanic Garden is open Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesdays), from 9am - 5pm. As of November 1, 2021, tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for seniors, military, and students, and $10 for children 3-17.
