How to Use the New Google Sheets Tables

Google introduced Tables to Google Sheets and what a game changer. In this video in our ‪@LocodeSystems‬ YouTube I will guide you in how to use Tables in Google Sheets. Starting with showing you how to insert a table from existing data that you already have as well using pre-built Tables. Next I show you how to format your data by using data types which formats all the data in the column so there is not erroneous data. As we go through formatting the table we look at Googles new Smart Chips which look at different types of data in your google account such as Files, People, and locations that you can use in your Google table. We finish with how to create and save different views using the data in your table this views can be shared across via a link to make it easier for your peers to access and it allows them to view what you want them to see.
