This is a First Amendment Audit of the New York State Labor Department in Lockport NY, on February 14th 2023. At first we were told it was OK to film in the publicly accessible areas, then told we were NOT! Then told to leave or the cops would be called. The lady called Lockport police to have the Erie County Fam removed! The young police officer tried to compare the Public lobby to a private store and got shut down with the actual Law! They young cop has a lot to learn about the law, or he was straight bluffing, hoping the Erie County Fam dont know Our rights! Once the police talked with the manager in the back room they realized there was no policy that Trumped the US Constitution! When the Lockport police left Officer Streckewald's EGO kicked in and he wouldn't give out the call number. For whatever reason, he insisted on the Erie County Fam should have to come to the police department to get the number... But as soon as they drove off, I just called the PD, and the dispatcher gave it to me in less than a 20-second phone call. It was super petty, and I'm not really sure why he wouldn't give it to us other than he had an EGO problem cause AEC proved the point that they couldn't remove the Fam! There will be a part 2 as soon as we get the Bodycam Footage of the backroom talk Streckewald had with the manager! ☆☆Everyone Remember ☆☆ if you choose to redress your grievance to your government or public servants witch IS your Constitutional Right.
