Oxford Street to Victoria Station, London - viewed from a no 73 bus

A bus trip along a busy Oxford Street, full of shoppers on a chilly afternoon on 21st March 2013. This is history, being in the period before both Brexit and Covid. The bus turns left at Marble Arch down Park Lane, past the Grosvenor Hotel, Dorchester Hotel and Hilton Hotel to Hyde Park Corner. After Hyde Park Corner, the garden on the left with the long high wall - topped with razor wire - is the late Queen's / and future King's back yard! The final views are of the massive building site which Victoria became in 2013. Enjoy the unusual view as it disappeared itself within a few years. In March 2023 a collection of large steel and glass buildings stands in its place. Music is by Kevin Kendle - Still Air.
