Rau Kuv Txiv - Cyndi Thao

My father passed away this year on January 25, 2021. So I wrote a song for him and named it "Rau Kuv Txiv". Growing up in a traditional Hmong family, it was out of the norm to express our feelings to eachother. As much as we care and love one another, we only showed it silently through actions. We expect our loved ones to always be here, to never leave so soon, so we take their presence for granted. Once they're gone, no matter how many times we repeat the word "love" it is already too late, they won't even hear it anymore. Break that barrier and remember to remind your loved ones that you love them once in a while. It's better to annoy them than to regret. Many have lost their loved ones, especially to this pandemic. This song is for you all, I hope it can touch you in some type of way. ❤ Thank you to all those who made this song and video happen.
