-Find Hood release and open Hood -Wear Gloves to prevent touching battery acid -Remove Top Battery Cover -Remove Air Cleaner housing Cover and filter .Remove Plastic Air Ducts and Bolted parts (9mm). The bottom tray now lifts up and out -Disconnect Negative Cable that is attached close to the Fender( Black Wire, 10mm Bolt) this will allow easier movement of the battery -With a Small 10mm Socket Remove the Battery Hold down bracket underneath the Cowl -You can now pull the front of the airbox apart and toward the front of the vehicle . Disconnect the Red Battery Cable .
