Today I want to talk to you about getting rid of recurring mistakes in your art and creation, as well as blasting through sticking points. The concept I talk about is Extremes, and it means exploring the extreme opposite of what you are currently doing. So if you are a painter, and you find yourself (like me) muting colors too much, don't just try to make your color less muted. Instead, try exploring the extreme of using very bright, and completely non-muted colors. By going to that extreme, you will learn how to take it back a notch and find the balance you seek. But if you don't explore that extreme, you may not be able to find the balance at all, and you'll stay stuck in YOUR extreme. I hope this makes sense!
